What started as a simple church has grown into a collective of ministries, partnerships, and people who want to live like Jesus and love like Jesus in real life.

Our Story
Radiant has a simple desire: to help people find hope in Jesus and build real community.
Over time, we discovered that church isn’t meant to exist only on Sundays. Faith is meant to shape everyday life. So what began as a local church started growing into something more.
Today, Radiant is a collective of ministries, partnerships, and small ventures working together to bring hope, healing, and purpose to our city.
We are still the same at heart:

The Radiant Collective is how we live out the way of Jesus throughout the week. Each part of the collective focuses on a different area of life, but they all share the same heart and mission.

ABOUT GOD
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. We believe in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

ABOUT JESUS CHRIST
The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit that lives in the Christian and enables us to live a godly life. He gives every believer a spiritual gift when they are saved.

ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that salvation requires regeneration of the Holy Spirit by grace through faith. It is a free gift for those who declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead.

Radiant Church began in 2010 with a desire to reach people with the message of Jesus on the East side of Des Moines.
Radiant continued to grow as it moved from the E 26th St location to the Orange Planet Fitness building. In 2012, Radiant moved to the current Pleasant Hill facility at Metro East Dr.
On Easter 2019, Radiant opened the Ankeny Campus in the FFA building on the DMACC campus. In 2025, Radiant released this plant as their own church! Presence Church still resides in Ankeny, and meets every Sunday at 10:30AM!
In 2024, as a part of the REACH Initiative, Radiant opened the Shining Bright Learning Center

We have have a campus in Pleasant Hill that meets on Sunday mornings.
We offer two service times, one at 9AM and one at 10:30AM.
We have a livestream each week as well!

We have great people that form a casual, authentic atmosphere that's welcoming and loving. Don't worry about what to wear and sit wherever you'd like! Feel free to bring a friend, Bible, and coffee if you'd like!

Our services usually last about 70 minutes and include worship through song, a teaching, and more. We have live instrumentalists with words on the screens and an engaging message from the Bible.
We'll walk you through any special elements so you can know what to expect!
